Italian cuisine
Italy is famous for its pastas, pizzas and various sauces. One of the most famous dishes is pasta with Bolognese sauce. This rich meat sauce is prepared from beef, pork, tomatoes and aromatic herbs. Pasta is served with grated parmesan and fresh herbs.
Recipe for pasta with Bolognese sauce
Ingredients:
400 g of pasta (spaghetti or tortillas)
300 g of minced beef
150 g of minced pork
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
400 g of canned tomatoes
2 Art. spoons of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil for serving
Preparation:
Heat olive oil in a pan and fry finely chopped onion and garlic until golden.
Add minced meat and fry until done.
Stir in the canned tomatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
Boil the paste according to the instructions on the package.
Serve pasta with sauce, sprinkled with fresh basil and grated parmesan.
French cuisine
France is known for its exquisite dishes and culinary techniques. Ratatouille is one of the most popular French dishes. This is a vegetable dish that is ideal as a side dish or main course.
Ratatouille recipe
Ingredients:
1 eggplant
1 zucchini
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
2 tomatoes
1 onion
3 cloves of garlic
3 Art. spoons of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Provencal herbs
Preparation:
Cut all vegetables into cubes.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic.
Add the rest of the vegetables and simmer on medium heat for 20-30 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper and Provencal herbs.
Serve hot or cold.
